# Create Groups

Groups in equipme are a powerful way to bring structure into your setup. Instead of managing every employee one by one, you can organize them into groups — for example departments, project teams, or even custom structures that fit how your company works.

To create a group, go to **My Company → Groups** and click **Create**. A window will open where you can enter the details:

Once saved, the group is ready to use and visible in your overview. From there, you can start assigning employees to the group.

And here’s where it gets really practical: services in equipme can also be linked to groups. That means you can define which services a department, a team, or a project always needs and those services will then be automatically available for every employee in that group. This saves time, reduces manual work, and ensures consistency.
