# What is IT-Scope?

**ITscope** provides structured, ready to use product data for the IT channel. Instead of manually collecting information from different vendors, manufacturers or distributor websites, IT Scope makes product details available in a single, consistent source.

Within Equipme Pro, this becomes a major advantage when building your Service Portfolio. When you create a service, you do not need to research product specifications, write descriptions from scratch or search for suitable images. Product data can be pulled directly from IT Scope and used as the foundation for your service.

Products can be found quickly by name, ERN or other identifiers. Once selected, relevant details such as product name, technical information and images are automatically available. This allows you to focus on structuring and contextualizing the service instead of spending time on data preparation.

The key benefit is speed and consistency. Services can be created much faster because the underlying product information is already there. At the same time, the data quality remains high, as it comes from a maintained and structured source rather than manual input.

IT Scope does not define your services. It supplies the data that makes service creation easier and more efficient. Equipme Pro then builds on top of this by turning product information into structured, manageable services that fit your portfolio and your processes.
