# Inviting partners who are not yet using equipme

If you want to work with a company that is not yet using equipme, you can invite them directly.

This is a common situation. You already know which supplier or partner you need for a specific customer or service, but they are not in the platform yet.

Instead of requiring them to go through a full platform setup, you can invite them via Lite access and start working together immediately.

Once invited, the partner receives an email and joins through a dedicated registration flow.\
This flow is shorter and more direct than a standard setup, allowing the partner to get started quickly.

After registration, the partner is directly connected to your company.

From that point on, they operate only within this specific relationship.\
They see only the company that invited them and work in the context of that collaboration.

If the collaboration is tied to a specific customer, their access is further limited to that customer.\
They do not see other customers, partners, or any broader environment.

Their access is intentionally limited to what is required to support this specific collaboration, rather than a full equipme setup.

The setup is intentionally reduced to keep the focus on the actual collaboration.

At the same time, the partner can still do what is required.\
They can provide their services, support your offering, and contribute directly to what your customer needs.

This allows them to start working with you immediately, without having to go through a full platform setup.

For many partners, this lowers the barrier to get started, as they can focus on delivering their part instead of configuring a system.

If the partner later wants to use equipme more broadly, their access can be extended.

For you, this means you can bring in the exact partners you need and start working with them right away, regardless of whether they are already using equipme or not.
