# Managing Connected Partners

Once a partner is connected in Partner Connect, the relationship becomes active and you can start controlling how their offerings are used within your setup.

A connected partner is marked with a green check on the partner card. From this point on, you are no longer just browsing profiles, you are actively managing how this partner interacts with your customers and your portfolio.

When you open a connected partner, you will see three key areas: Profile, Offer brokerage, and Direct connection. Each of them serves a different purpose and should be understood separately.

***

### Profile: Activate and define the relationship

The Profile tab is where you control the foundation of the partnership.

The most important step is activating the partnership. Only after activation can you access and use the partner’s services in your environment.

You can also decide whether to share customer contact information. This is a relevant control point. Once enabled, the partner can access your customer details, which may be necessary for certain service delivery scenarios but also reduces your isolation from the partner.

This section is less about configuration and more about defining the level of trust and interaction between you and the partner.

### Offer brokerage: Control which offers are available

This is where the setup becomes operational.

In the Offer brokerage tab, you decide which of the partner’s services should be available to your customers. You are not forced to expose everything. Instead, you can curate the offering.

You can either unlock all offers at once or selectively enable specific services for specific customers. This gives you a controlled distribution layer.

This distinction matters. If you enable everything globally, you lose control over positioning and bundling. If you selectively activate offers, you can align them with your own service structure and customer needs.

Think of this as your filtering layer between partner supply and customer visibility.

### Direct connection: Give publishing control to the partner

The Direct connection tab changes the model significantly.

Instead of you controlling which offers are exposed, you allow the partner to publish directly to your customers. This removes you from the middle of the process.

This comes with two implications:

First, the partner can see your customer names.\
Second, you lose control over which offers are published and how they are presented.

You can assign this access to all customers or only to selected ones. This makes it possible to test this model in a controlled way before rolling it out broadly.

This option is useful if you fully trust the partner and want to reduce operational overhead. Otherwise, it should be used carefully.
