# Partner Profile

If you want to make your services accessible to others in Partner Connect, everything starts with your partner profile.

It’s not just a form you fill out. It’s the place where others first understand who you are, what you offer, and whether it makes sense to work with you.

***

### Where this fits in

You’ll find Partner Connect under:

**Portfolio Management → Partner Connect**

This is where you manage your partnerships, invite new ones, and define how your offerings become available beyond your own organization.

The profile itself sits right in the center of this. Without it, there is nothing to present and nothing others can interact with.

***

### What the profile actually does

The partner profile has two roles at the same time.

On one side, it represents your company. On the other side, it acts as the entry point to your offerings.

Once it’s set up and active, it allows others to:

* understand what you do
* find you in the partner directory
* access and order your services

So it’s less about “filling in fields” and more about defining how you appear and how accessible your services are.

***

### What really matters when setting it up

The basic contact details and short description should make it immediately clear what kind of services you provide. If someone lands on your profile, they should understand within seconds whether you’re relevant to them or not.

Your logo and banner play a bigger role than it might seem. In Partner Connect, profiles are often scanned visually first. A clean and recognizable appearance helps a lot with that initial impression.

The detailed description is where you can go a bit deeper. This is useful if your offering needs more context or if you want to position yourself more clearly. If you leave it empty, your profile will still work, but it will feel quite minimal.

***

### Visibility and control

At the bottom of the profile, you define how visible and usable your profile actually is.

There are two important switches here.

If you enable the option to show your profile in the partner directory, you can be discovered by new partners and customers. Without that, your profile is only visible in existing connections.

The second one controls whether your profile is active. Only when it’s active can connected customers actually see and order your offerings. If it’s inactive, your profile exists, but it’s effectively not usable.

This gives you full control over when you want to go live and when you don’t.
