# My equipment

My equipment: view your own equipment, confirm receipt, report problems, request a successor, store, replace or cancel.

**Path:** Sidebar → "My workspace" → **"My equipment"**

Here you see all services assigned to you, including those you have requested that have not yet been approved or delivered.

## Overview

* Search as well as filters by **"Category"** and **"Status"**.
* Each card shows the image, name, status, category, term or remaining term, "Auto-renewal", offer type and, if the company allows it, the price.
* A parcel icon indicates an ongoing shipment.
* If a service is waiting for approval, clicking the status opens the details of the approval request.

If the list is empty, **"Add"** takes you to "My Marketplace".

On desktop, your profile with "My locations", open confirmations of receipt and your approval requests is shown to the right (see [Employee self-service](/dokumentation/self-service.md#your-profile)).

## Actions on the card

* **"Report problem"** (headset icon): submit a support request for this service (see [Support requests and tickets](/dokumentation/self-service/tickets.md)).
* **Confirm receipt** (thumbs-up icon): confirm that you have received the service.
* **"Show details"**: opens the detail page.

## On the detail page

On the right of the detail page is the card with **"Confirmation of receipt"** and **"Lifecycle"**. What appears there depends on the service and its status.

**"Confirmation of receipt":** If the service is waiting for your confirmation, it shows "Pending confirmation". Use the check mark **"Confirm"** to confirm that you have received the service. Afterwards, a check mark shows "Receipt confirmed".

**"Lifecycle":**

| Action                         | Used for                                                                                                             |
| ------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **"Define successor service"** | Request a new model as a replacement, e.g. at the end of the term. The catalog opens as "Request successor service". |
| **"Store service"** | Return a device; it is stored at a company location or warehouse |
| **"Replace service"** | Have a defective or lost device replaced (if the supplier offers this) |

Further options on the detail page:

| Action                  | Used for                                               |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| "Configuration" tab     | Change options                                         |
| "Services & extras" tab | Book add-ons such as accessories or warranty extension |
| **"Cancel service"** | Cancel the service |

All requests from the self-service go through the company's approval process. As long as a request is open, the card shows e.g. "Storage requested", and you can withdraw it, e.g. with "Remove storage request" or "Remove exchange request". While a process is running, the actions are locked.

{% hint style="info" %}
Your company maintains features such as serial number or IMEI on the service. Whether a feature is "Internal" or "Public" only controls whether other involved companies (e.g. your provider) see it, not whether you see it.
{% endhint %}

## Frequently asked questions

**Where do I find "My services"?**

The area is now called "My equipment" and is at the top of the sidebar under "My workspace".

**I don't see any lifecycle actions on the detail page.**

The actions depend on the service and its status. Some services don't allow a replacement, for example, or a request is already in progress.

**I received a device, but there is no confirmation of receipt.**

A confirmation of receipt only appears if your company has requested one for this service.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hub.equipme.io/dokumentation/self-service/my-services.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
