# Operations at a glance

Overview of the "Operations" area in Equipme Pro: service instances of all customers, HR sync status and the Equipme Operate ticket system from the provider's perspective.

**Path:** "Operations"

While [Fulfillment](/pro/fulfillment.md) processes new orders, "Operations" takes care of day-to-day running: Which services are in use at which customers, and are your customers' HR synchronizations running?

| Menu item           | Content                                                                                        | Who sees it                                                                                                                           | Page                                                      |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| "Service instances" | All provided services of all customers, search by customer, employee, serial number or product | Roles with read access to fulfillment (e.g. "Fulfillment Controller", "Fulfillment Operator", "Fulfillment Manager", "Administrator") | [Service instances](/pro/operations/service-instances.md) |
| "HR sync" | Status of your customers' HR synchronizations | "Administrator" | [HR sync](/pro/operations/hr-sync.md) |

The "Operations" area appears in the menu as soon as you are allowed to use at least one of the menu items.

Your customers' **Equipme Operate** ticket system has no menu item of its own in Pro. What you need to know about it as a provider is described under [Ticket system (Equipme Operate)](/pro/operations/tickets.md).

## Frequently asked questions

**Where do I edit an individual service?**

Clicking a service instance opens the same detail view as in fulfillment (see [Open positions](/pro/fulfillment/open-positions.md#the-detail-view-of-a-service-instance)).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hub.equipme.io/pro/operations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
