# April

**Update 10.04.2026 Release #1**

## Partner Connect, now easier to discover and easier to use

Partner Connect has been part of Equipme for a long time. What has changed now is the experience around it.

With the latest updates, it is much easier to make your company visible to potential partners, connect with existing ones, and invite new suppliers into Equipme without forcing them through a complex setup from day one.

The goal is simple. Make partner collaboration easier, faster, and more practical for everyone involved.

### Be visible in the Partner Directory

One of the most important updates is the new visibility option in the partner profile.

With **Show profile in partner directory**, companies can decide whether they want to be discoverable by new customers. Once this option is enabled, the company can appear in the Partner Directory and be found by others inside Equipme.

This is a meaningful change because Partner Connect used to be much more closed. In many cases, connections only happened when both sides already knew each other. Now, companies that want to be found can actively make themselves visible and open the door to new business relationships.

At the same time, visibility remains fully optional. If you do not want your company to appear in the directory, you can simply keep the setting turned off.

### A simpler partner profile

The profile itself has also been improved.

Instead of overloading the setup with information that is rarely used, the updated flow focuses on the details that actually matter when someone is trying to understand who you are. This includes core company information, contacts, and profile content such as a short description or website. The result is a cleaner profile and a simpler process overall.

From a user perspective, that matters because it lowers the barrier to getting started. Profiles are easier to maintain, and potential partners get the information they need without unnecessary complexity.

### Connect with partners already in Equipme

If a supplier or partner is already in Equipme, the process is now much more straightforward.

You can find the company, open its profile, and request a partnership directly. The request can include context, for example where you met or who introduced you, which makes the outreach more personal and easier to understand for the recipient. Relevant contacts and admins on the other side are then informed automatically by email.

This creates a much smoother first step. Instead of handling everything outside the platform, the connection starts in Equipme and stays connected to the actual partner profile.

### Invite suppliers who are not in Equipme yet

Another major improvement is the invitation flow for new partners.

If the supplier you want to work with is not yet on Equipme, you can invite them directly by email. From there, they can register through a simplified onboarding flow and start collaborating with you inside the platform.

This is one of the biggest practical advantages of the update. Instead of asking a partner to fully adopt Equipme before they can even begin, you can bring them in through a much lighter entry point that is designed around one specific customer relationship.

### A focused setup for invited partners

Invited suppliers do not land in the full Equipme environment.

They get access to a more focused setup that is limited to the customer who invited them. That means they can work in Equipme, manage the relevant relationship, and provide offers or services where needed, but they do not immediately enter the broader platform structure.

This has two clear advantages.

First, it makes onboarding much easier for the invited partner. They only see what is relevant, so the experience feels manageable from the start.

Second, it keeps the setup controlled. Access stays tied to the specific customer relationship, which makes the whole process more structured and easier to understand on both sides.

***

In practice, working with external partners is often where collaboration becomes slow. Finding the right contact, explaining the process, and getting everyone into the same system can take far too much effort.

These updates improve that in a very practical way.

Companies that want to grow their network can now make themselves visible. Teams looking for new suppliers can discover them more easily. Existing partners can be connected directly inside Equipme. And new suppliers can be invited into a simplified setup that helps them get started quickly.

In other words, Partner Connect is no longer just a feature for managing existing connections. It is a much smoother path into collaboration.

The latest Partner Connect updates make it easier to be found, easier to connect, and easier to bring new partners into Equipme.

With the new Partner Directory visibility option, streamlined partner profiles, direct partnership requests, and a simpler onboarding flow for invited suppliers, collaboration starts faster and feels much more natural from the beginning.
